The Bergmann Flavor in Royals Soccer
During pre-game warm up my fellow captain Melissa and I (top left) are in a debate about whether the cheerleading ad in the Royal Decree newspaper should have been in the sports section or the campus life section - I argued that it shouldn't exist at all. =)
The article was incredibly gracious to all of the soccer players who are moving in a new direction under the leadership of the Bergmann's - in a winning direction. Isn't it so cute that our coaches are married?? They are adorable, and theyprobably talk about us at all times - at home, eating dinner, walking belle, grocery shopping... the works. I bet dinner would be awkward if one night the men's team just got worked out on the field and the women's team did the working - can Kelly celebrate or should she wallow with Chris? I wonder if they ever get sick of talking about soccer - WAIT did I really just ask that question? Strike that from the record.
Wednesday Night 4pm Chapman @ HIU...
HIU 2, Chapman 1... and the roomies scored!! Jessica and Shuanna both put one away - Jessica in the first and Shaunna to seal the deal in the second. We are now 5-3-0 (5 wins, 3 losses, and 0 ties). But the real show goes down on Tuesday night at Hydraflow against Master's College. The NCCAA National Tourney and 4th season of Gilmore Girls are on the line.
