The adorable towheaded FINN! I noticed at the Collins December Birthdays that Finn has a widow’s peak and it’s so cute and so perfect for his fauxhawk. Uncle Ken was curious where “towhead” came from, while I am curious where “the towhead” came from – He’s a recessive little feller. Below is for Ken.
A towhead is a sandbar or small alluvial island in a river that often features a small grouping of trees.
A towhead also refers to a person with light blond hair. This is based on the hair's resemblance to tow which is coarse or broken flax prepared for spinning.

What happened to the alien-eyed gingerbread men?

Mom bribed me with “go see Enchanted after” to go to Dad’s Christmas work-party. At the cop-fest I realized that it was nice to fall back on family conversation and shared experiences between the small talk.
Mom and I decorated gingerbread men cookies to-go. I left them on a plate atop the dining room/kitchen table and in the morning the plate was on the ground gingerbread cookie-less. Roxie has spewed a couple times since.
ENCHANTED was fun and made me happy for absolutely no reason for a whole day. All I have to say is… “I’ve been dreaming of a true love’s kiss, and a prince I hope that comes with this. That’s what makes ever-aftering so happy!” Amy Adams was the perfect princess – Sarah Kelley could have played the part just as well.
