The poll has been taken down by the suggestion of one and the request of another. It was all in fun. Thanks to the eight who participated before it was prematurely pulled.
Eucatastrophe is a term coined by J. R. R. Tolkien to describe small misadventures endured by the protagonist, that ultimately result in her well-being.
The word is formed by the Greek prefix eu, meaning good, to catastrophe.
