Mi Casa Nueva

My new place! It is completely empty -- that is, with the exception of all the closets. Shown is the entry way, the kitchen, the back room, the front living room and the dining room.

I got a key on Monday and have been too busy with finals, the new job and soccer that I haven't had time to move in or even start packing. BUT today I made a token trip with a car-load of laundry.


There's four rooms and six soccer players. Christine, my roommate since Freshman year (yep, even at Hope), is sharing the master bedroom with me -- we each get our own walk-in closets, and the room has a bathroom and balcony.

The new job -- probably news to most... I have been working at Jamba Juice for almost a week now. Annnd that does mean I am not coming home para el verano. Jamba is only 3.21 miles away from mi casa nueva. When finals are over (THURSDAY!! can't come quick enough) I will be working the morning shift (Jamba opens at 6am!) -- a nice little money-maker and free meal while I'm on my own, playing for the Chicago Gaels and taking 12 credits. Oh, and do believe that my roommates and I will be the friendly available neighborhood babysitters -- prime location.

The Prelude will remain in Woarshington -- I am currently shopping for a bike.
