aussie's first baseball game

andy, steven, jayson and I went to MILWAUKEE to watch the #1 Dodgers lose to the Brewers. Andy and Jay are big Dodger fans. We had sweet seats on the Dodger dugout side right next to Ethier.... or Hart, depending if it was the top or the bottom =). Jay was told to shutup at least once. Steven, from Sydney Austrailia, had never been to a baseball game before - he's a freshman on the TIU men's soccer team. Jay's on the coaching staff - former HIU player. The place was pretty packed - it was a holiday. I had my first brat since Deutschland, and splurged on some Heavenly Roasted Nuts.

THIS PAST WEEKEND the TIU women's soccer team was in Wisconsin for the Cardinal Stritch tournament. On Friday night we beat Lyndenwood 2-1 in overtime. Saturday night we beat Baker 3-1 in regulation - I scored my 5th on the season. We are 3-1. It was a sweet trip.

SUNDAY Serena and I hit up the SHYG Labor Day Weekend Pool Party at one of the youth leader's mansions in Lake Forest. Besides getting attacked by hundreds of bees, it was a good time to get to know the high school group and get away from the Melton Cafeteria. Posted by Picasa
