more itchin' and scratchin'

our winnings turned into... more scratch tickets =)

Last night Kyle was planning to tutor Andy and I for our upcoming math exam. Somehow the subject of Jessica and me and the winning scratch ticket emerged mid conversation and my quest for midnight caffeine at a mini mart - sbux was closed - turned into an itch-for-scratch fest 2005. We bought a handful of scratch tickets - stacks of cash, 19 million spectacular, stars and stripes, sizzlin' 7s, funky monkey, and california cash. The total group winnings were mid 20's, but the winnnings-to-ticket transfer cycle eventually lead us to defeat. It was a sweet time, though. One of those once a year or so outtings, I suppose. When it gets scary is when people - Andy, *cough* - say things like "hey we'll do this at least once a week with our grocery money." I'm not going to get into the boys dorm room grocery money situation, but just know it's a bottle of chump change.

Andy's winning ticket - ALL numbers matched... but you know what that means: only $1 prize for each.
so the verdict: Andy and I prove to be able to identify matching numbers quite well, but in the end we dropped our Math class. The truth is we were missing class too much for soccer and getting behind was adding a lot of uneeded stress.
