Saw this one with Mom and Paps recently. It has it's corny-to-dumb parts buuuut - being a sucker for romantic comedies - I absolutely enjoyed it. John Cusack is getting older while Diane Lane is getting more beautiful. Romantic Comedy films are like easy-read books: they are entertaining to watch over and over again. It's not like a thriller, action, drama, etc., where you have to prepare your brain to do a little work. Annnd they don't leave you terrified, confused, or depressed - when you're all done you feel happy. So Must Love Dogs is a definite buy, like: Serendipity, What Women Want, Sleepless in Seattle, How to lose a guy in 10 days, 13 going on 30, Alex and Emma, Jersey Girl, You've Got Mail and Return to Me.Oh yeah, also a definite rental (that is, if you don't trust me enough to buy) - don't waste your time in the theatre.
