I went to Wrigley Field with some of my former teammates for a Chicago Cubs game. Wrigley Field was on the to-do list before I get outta here (Graduation: May 10).
I enjoyed some dogs, peanuts, a licorice rope and lukewarm hot chocolate -- it was an extra chilly night! I got a free Cubs longsleeve and dropped my WA driver's license somewhere in the park. Not a happy thing.
Cubs were down by 10-7 in the bottom of the 8th. I assume they went on to lose.
It's been 100 years since the Cubs won the World Series. And like every other year, Cubs fans continue to proclaim, "This is the year!"
We drove to Evanston and took the L train to the baseball park. The L was a first for me too.
Cubs Manager Lou Pinella, former Manager of the Seattle Mariners, starred as himself in a fabulously funny Aquafina commercial.
Eucatastrophe is a term coined by J. R. R. Tolkien to describe small misadventures endured by the protagonist, that ultimately result in her well-being.
The word is formed by the Greek prefix eu, meaning good, to catastrophe.
