Easter BREAK

My teammate Tami, the photo winner from the Philippines, came home with me Easter Break to play with the Seattle Sounders Friday. It was a quasi-tryout; a scrimmage, gone bad though, against some talentless team from Wenatchee.

We flew in Wednesday night. Tami's never been here before-- in addition to her tours of Dash Point, Redondo Beach, Pike Place Market, Seattle Centre and the Space Needle, she met the entire fam... and some.

Thursday was a road-trip to Portland to have din with Jon and Tristen. We walked trendy-third and hit up the Mac store and I purchased my first; a macbook. Im still learning how to use it efficiently. Breau hooked me up with some sweet downloads.

Saturday Bridget and Breau brought Finn Theodore over to see his auntie Coley. We bonded -- I have a drool mark on my shirt to prove it. We watched Happy Feet -- personal rating: lame.

Easter Sunday we had dinner at Aunt Kris and Uncle Ken's farm with most of the extended Collins family. It was the first time I touched playing cards since arriving home -- yep, Chicago Rummy.

@ 5:30am Tami and I dropped the 'rents off at the airport -- they will be in Cancun for the next 10 days. Tami came because SHE HAD TO DRIVE -- I'm not insured to drive my parents vehicles. In fact, Tami had to drive everywhere we went this weekend.

We return to Chicago tomorrow. As for the semester: 21 days and counting.
