I conned my parents into buying Dance Dance Revolution Supernova and a playstation 2 for Christmas. Dad isn’t half bad. Nicky wouldn’t play. I want to confiscate it and bring it with me to Chicago, but dad bought a bunch of games on the internet, so I’m becoming more and more convinced that its staying here for the semester.
Nicky left me for WSU this morning. boo. I cried. Yep, no lie. I immediately looked up plane tickets to visit for spring break. Pathetic, yes I know.
I am provisionally accepted to Liberty University (VA) and I never sent in my application.
Hayley Westerfield emailed me today. It has been forever (10 years-ish) since I had any contact with her. Aaron got married a couple of weeks ago. Hayley has one year left at a Dental Hygienist school in Kansas. She and her boyfriend Eric are too cute.
I asked for SceneIt? last Christmas and I got it this Christmas.

I’m addicted to Scrabble. Nick bought the board game and I found a travel version. He found the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary Fourth Edition at Borders - it features more than 100,000 two-to-eight-letter words. I can no longer play the Yahoo internet Scrabble because all of the trial versions have expired on each of the computers at home.

The ‘rents and I went to Seattle for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Gingerbread showcase. Yeah, kind of a paradox, but we’ve made it a tradition.
Nick beat me at basketball, but I beat him at soccer-tennis. And scrabble.
My college soccer team was to read buy the “Live your Strengths” book over break and take the Clifton Strengths Finder test. My top 5 signature themes were: competition, achiever, command, learner, input.
Grandpa Howie was the first Chicago Rummy winner of 2007.

My former Hope International University (CA) basketball team played at Seattle University. They lost by double digits, but it was sweet to see them again. Stephanie Wenke is a Junior at Hope and she’s from Anacortes.
I am banning textbooks this semester. Well, banning buying them anyway.
Paps says he can’t wait for me to leave and mom wishes I could stay longer. I am in conflict about the whole situation. =) Paps also says that when I get married and get my own place he’s going to come over and turn on all my lights. I asked him why I had to be married to have my own place.
Sushi is really good. Azuras makes amazing sushi. If you want amazing-really good sushi go to Azuras. Kant might not approve. I wonder if he even ever had any.
Nick asked me what diamond cut I preferred and I asked him if that had anything to do with the size. My bad.
I played Chicago Rummy a handful of times a handful of nights and never won.
For my birthday Gblock gave me the 2006 FIFA World Cup Teamgeist game ball. Sweetness.
The Seahawks managed to beat the Cowboys yesterday and it was the most entertaining game I’ve seen all season - it was a high-fives all-around fourth quarter. I’ll be in Chicago when they play the bears Sunday and I wouldn’t mind another uncanny victory.
I arrive in Chicago late Tuesday evening and my first class is Wednesday morning.
