"yep, it really is"

that was the reply, so calm and cool, from Coach Mike when I lifted my hand with the ring finger shooting out at a 45 degree angle from the middle knuckle. i had said, very nonchalantly, "my finger's dislocated." Mike instantly popped it back into place just as I turned my head, i hadn't even gotten up from the ground- I didn't feel him do it either. We were practicing a base running drill, on this particular run we were to round first and dive back to it... so I was little over-anxious to dive, an understatement for sure, and my finger caught the side of the bag... the rest is history.

this girl, Norma, in elementary school told me that i had fat fingers - it really bugged me, i will never forget it... maybe I should track her down and let her know she was right

is that two knuckles??i can still manage a throw - jess and i were tossing it back and forth in the room tonight

did i tell you about the new position? well everybody else knows: i'm the new short stop. huge transition from center field, you should see the bruises, but i'm growing to love it - great timing with the whole finger fiasco... im such a dork.

so i guess there was a fire in Anaheim on Monday - pretty big deal actually... and the effects are still lingering. I was finishing a monologue, an informed analysis by a dialogic reading of any controversial topic of my interest, and some reading in humble apologetics (don't even get me started), ALLLLLL morning tucked in my wee little dorm room so i didn't catch the news until the hermit crab, yes me, crawled out of her shell to go to class and saw the orange sun glowing strangely through dark, smokey clouds that took the clear blue sky captive. i wasn't able to enjoy nall the changing effects on the sun due to the massive ink blobs throughout the day BECAUSE i hop from class to class: advanced comm to dramatic writing to apologetics back to back throghout the afternoon into the early evening. my high school soccer practice was canceled because there was a red flag warning for being outdoors. softball practice continued as planned and as got in my car ash from the door panel fell onto my seat and left white marks BOO - they went away, though. here's a picture from the sky tonight (tuesday) at practice see that? that's what my lungs look like after softball practice

gg was on tonight, did you miss it?
