nicky came to visit last weekend and it felt like I was able to experience chi-town for the first time all over again. it was sweet. we hit up Michigan Avenue, Millenium Park, and everything surrounding. we ate chicago style pizza at Giordianos, walked the stairs at the Water Tower, saw the huge mirror bean reflecting the city-line, got on the wrong Metra train going home, and even used the restrooms at Giradelli's. i experienced true nervousness before my game - it was the first time he's seen one of my college matches. fortunately we beat IIT and i wasn't too distracted. it was a short visit, yet incredibly needed.
