SHYGish

BRADDIGAN in concert at SHYG.
He was in a band formerly known as Dispatch.
Serena bought his CD - he's much better live.

Fraiser Furs from North Carolina. Nope, not cat coats - those are the christmas trees SHYG students sell at Christ Church Lake Forest to raise money for summer mission trips. They earn around $80 per tree sold. Go to Romania on ten trees. They sell wreaths too, and ribbons. Ribbons are 75 cents. Go to Romania on 6000 Ribbons.

Phantom Ranch in Mukwanago, WI. I returned from SHYG's Fall Retreat yesterday. The cabins were on par with my dorm room at Hope International University. It's named after Phantom Lake - more like a pond - on par with deer lake of Lakeside Bible Camp. We all now understand the Phantom, the Ranch and Mukwanago Man characters from the short film directed by Nugent... and I took one for the team at the SHYG leaders meeting - not the only one who didn't get the humor, was I? =).

I was making my way to my ex-bunkbed when Serena asked, "do you want to decorate the room?" I said, "NOPE," and minutes later I was organzing pictures and tack board on the floor and putting them up on the wall. Two words: Island Paradise. No I did not come up with it, neither did Wendy - it was the name given to the calendars we ripped the pics from.
