stitches out

Point Loma came to Hydraflow Monday afternoon and left victorious 3-2. Our giving mood sustained the trip from San Diego and cost us 3 goals early. We went into halftime frustrated and down and with little hope. Off of a corner kick in the second half PLNU committed an own goal - these seem to be common lately (SDCC). We were able to keep the Sea Lions scoreless in the second half. Marce Hernandez scored our second goal late in the game off of a hustle play - beating the goalie to a 50/50 ball. Last year we traveled to San Diego only to be sent home with a 3-0 loss to PLNU - but don't be mislead, because it is not our goal to just "lose by less" than last year, it is to WIN GAMES - especially against teams like PLNU that are beatable. If I hear one more person congratulate us for improving on last year's loss I'M GOING TO GO CRAZY.

TK - Trainer Kim - took out my stitches on Tuesday. Everyone seems to think that it is healing up nicely but I'm not a big fan of the scar, especially on the face.
